When Sienna was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease she could barely move. She could not sit up, stand up or even walk. Chiara decided that she needed to make sure her sister still had fun no matter what. She started to take care of Sienna. She would bring her water when she was thirsty and her blanket when she was upset. If Sienna needed a toy to play with Chiara would bring her a basket to chose what she wanted. Sienna became withdrawn and quiet and Chiara would relay what she wanted to say to people. During Physio Chiara would do all the exercises her sister had to do with her. And for every needle and appointment she would sit with her sister. I am so proud of this little girl. She was barely 4 when she became her sisters caregiver. Something we never asked of her. Yet she wanted to do it. And I cant think of anything cooler than a little girl willing to help out someone all on her own!
